1. Introduction

CampAIn (“we,” “our,” or “us”) provides an AI-powered platform (the “Service”) designed to help Amazon advertisers manage and optimize PPC campaigns. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information if you visit our landing page or use the Service. By accessing or using CampAIn, you agree to the terms outlined below.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information You Provide Directly:
– Contact information (name, email address) when you sign up for updates or request access to the MVP.
– User credentials and OAuth tokens or API keys to connect your Amazon Advertising account, used solely to enable CampAIn to interact with Amazon’s Advertising API.
– Support requests or feedback you submit via email or contact forms.

2.2 Automatically Collected Information:
– Device and usage data (IP address, browser type, pages visited, time stamps) collected via cookies, web beacons, or similar technologies. This helps us understand how you interact with our landing page and platform.
– Analytics data (e.g., page load times, click-through rates) to improve performance and user experience.

2.3 Amazon Advertising API Data:
With your consent, CampAIn may retrieve campaign metrics, product information (ASINs, titles), and performance metrics (impressions, clicks, cost) directly from the Amazon Advertising API. We do not store your Amazon password—only encrypted API tokens or OAuth credentials as required for ongoing integration.

3. How We Use Your Information

– To provide, maintain, and improve the Service, including generating AI-powered campaign structures, optimizations, and media plans.

– To authenticate and synchronize your Amazon Ads data, ensuring real-time metrics appear in your CampAIn dashboard.

– To communicate updates, product announcements, and marketing-related messages, unless you opt out.

– To conduct internal analysis, troubleshooting, and performance monitoring.

– To comply with legal obligations or protect the rights, property, or safety of CampAIn, our users, or the public.

4. Disclosure of Information

4.1 Third-Party Service Providers:
We may share personally identifiable information and usage data with trusted vendors who perform services on our behalf (e.g., hosting providers, analytics platforms, email service providers). These parties are contractually obligated to maintain confidentiality and use data only for the purposes we specify.

4.2 Amazon:
To comply with Amazon Partner API requirements, CampAIn may be required to provide Amazon with information about how our platform uses the Advertising API. We share only aggregated usage metrics or data specifically required by Amazon for audit or review.

4.3 Legal and Safety:
If compelled by law, legal process, or governmental request, or to protect our rights, property, or safety—or those of our users—CampAIn may disclose your information.

5. Data Retention

We retain your information only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law. For example, if you delete your account or revoke API access, we will remove your personal data and encrypted tokens within 30 days, except where retention is needed to comply with legal obligations.

6. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

CampAIn uses cookies, web beacons, and similar tracking technologies to gather analytics and improve user experience. You can control cookie settings via your browser; however, disabling cookies may affect functionality.

7. Security Measures

We implement industry-standard safeguards (encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, secure development practices) to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Children’s Privacy

Our Service is not directed at individuals under age 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If we learn we have inadvertently collected data from someone under 18, we will take steps to promptly delete it.

9. International Data Transfers

Your information may be stored and processed in servers located outside your country of residence, including the United States and Canada. By using CampAIn, you consent to the transfer of information to these jurisdictions.

10. Your Rights and Choices

– You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us (see Section 13).

– You can opt out of promotional emails at any time by following the “unsubscribe” instructions in those emails.

– You may revoke CampAIn’s access to your Amazon Advertising API tokens via your Amazon Seller Central or Advertising Console settings.

11. Third-Party Links

Our landing page or Service may contain links to third-party websites (e.g., Amazon documentation, analytics dashboards). We are not responsible for third-party privacy practices. Please review the privacy policies of those sites separately.

12. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this policy periodically (for example, to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements). We will post the revised Privacy Policy on our landing page and update the “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
